I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team @BeSomeonesCure

St. Baldrick's is one of the few cancer organizations that I can say I fully support and believe in.  They are 100% transparent on where their money goes, not something you see from many other organizations. This organization funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any fundraising organization!
I work firsthand with patients and their families through their fight with cancer.  I can tell you that these kids that are fighting this are some of the strongest and most inspiring people you will ever meet.
Chemotherapy, blood and platelet transfusion, bone marrow testing, spinal taps are all things that NO CHILD should have to experience!
11 year old Helen Forgey has been a huge inspiration to me personally. She has been fighting ALL (leukemia) for 2 years now and does it with a smile on her face. At such a young age, she knows the importance of giving back!  Helen volunteers with both Be The Match and LifeShare Blood Centers to encourage people to donate to save others' lives.
For the second year, I am shaving my head in honor of Helen.  I am currently growing my hair out! Last year I dyed it bright blue (since blue is one of Helen's favorite colors).  Thisis year who knows, maybe purple or pink!
I need YOUR help to reach my goal of $300.  If every one of my friends just gave $1, I would be well over my goal!
