As some of you already know, my wife Kelley was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia when she was eleven years old. She suffered a relapse, underwent three years of chemotherapy treatments, and lost her hair twice. She is now an Emergency Medicine Physician at Children’s Hospital, the very same hospital where she received her treatment 25 years ago. She is proof that childhood cancer can be beaten and an inspiration to every cancer patient she comes in contact with at Children’s. As a celebration of her survival Kelley is going bald "on her own terms" this March and Logan and I are going bald with her. We are shaving our heads to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures.
Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
