So for those of you who don't know I am Funcle Pete. My warrior niece Autumn was diagnosed with a Fibromatosis Soft Tissue Sarcoma back in November 2016. Over the last year, Autumn has been through three different types of chemotherapy with little to no results. Her team of doctors' are now searching for different treatment options that will bring her to Boston Children's Hospital for a consult with Cryotherapy.
Although our family's world was flipped upside down, her smile and contagious laugh keeps us going.
If anyone can kick cancers butt - Autumn can.
To make a long story short - I'm shaving my head for her.
$1,000 gets the head
$2,500 beard goes as well.
Let's bring awareness to this horrible nightmare we call pediatric cancer.
This will not defeat us, this will not define us.
We are strong, unseasonably strong, #AUTUMNSTRONG
This year we agreed that we want all of Autumn's St. Baldrick's fundraising to go directly to St. Baldrick in hopes that we bring funding to finding a cure. No family should have to go what we are going through. NO FAMILY should have to search for answers and have failed treatment attempts. No child deserves this battle. LETS BRING AWARENESS TO PEDIATRIC CANCER.
BE THE CHANGE
I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
