I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I'm shaving my head with St. Baldrick's to raise money and help conquer kids' cancers! Every 2 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer worldwide, and 1 in 5 of those in the U.S. will not survive. I refuse to accept this reality, so I’ve decided to fundraise for lifesaving research to find cures and better treatments for kids.

So, I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. In fact, this will be my eleventh time to be shaved and stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer. Each year I have been overwhelmed by the generosity and support of my friends and family. Last year was another great year with donations totaling $8K, bringing the ten year total for my head shaves to over $58K! Please join the effort to fight childhood cancer by supporting me this year with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.

Now I need your support! Your donation can fund research to help kids survive and thrive. Join me today and let’s #DFYchildhoodCancers together.

P.S. The shave event has been postponed due to the COVID-19 (Coronovirus) pandemic situation.  It will be rescheduled as soon as is practical and I will be BALD again.  When it happens, my shave venue will again be Trinity Hall in Mockingbird Station (5321 E. Mockingbird Ln., #250, Dallas, TX 75206). My shave time has not been set yet.  As soon as it is I will update this note. Everyone is invited to attend the shave. Please plan to come on out, have a cup of coffee or a beer, watch me lose my hair, and have a good time.
