I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team TaTa

3/14/13

Okay, this is getting REAL now!

Of course, my hair has been looking GREAT all week--figures... I am getting psyched up for The Shearing. I have almost made my goal of $1000 - I will keep on fundraising even after the hair is gone. Who knows, seeing that I have really done it might inspire people even more.

I am so grateful to Dr. Bruce Small at SMALL DENTISTRY and Bill Zagoreos at McGRATH PHARMACY! It feels good that the businesses I patronize are on board and supporting me. 2/21/13

I'm having my head shaved! Last time I lost my hair, it was involuntary, but this time I am nearly 6 years CANCER-FREE and standing in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, and with my friend JORDANA. She did this event with her little boy last year, but this year is losing her hair to chemotherapy for breast cancer. I think this is more meaningful to Jordana than donating to a breast cancer charity.

Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. Or better yet, join Team TaTa and raise some donations yourself!

St. Baldrick's is a volunteer-driven charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
