I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: 46 Mommas Shave for the Brave

I like to do crazy things, so combining my craziness with my passion for raising awareness and funding for childhood cancer research is the perfect combination. As a mother of 5 children I'm very flexible and willing to just go with the flow of things whenever possible. My passion in life is my children, raising them has been the biggest accomplishment of my life. Armstrong, is forever 3 years of after being diagnosed with a brain tumor in November 2008 and passing away only a few short months later. Losing him is a struggle everyday, not a moment goes by when I forget the pain caused by losing our fight against brain cancer. I'm shaving my head with these other 45 momma's to raise the community consciousness of childhood cancer. No longer will people use the excuses that they did not know childhood cancer is so prevalent. No longer will people say they do not know a child with cancer. No longer will anyone who crosses my path be able to forget the power they hold to change the direction of childhood cancer. I am convinced we will eradicate this beast called cancer!

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
