I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with:
Tara's Team
On March 21st in the memory of my daughter, Tara, I will be shaving my head again(6th year) to raise money to help find a cure to childhood cancer through the St. Baldrick’s Foundation. Tara was a supporter of St. Baldrick’s and participated when she could. Tara would want the fundraising to find a cure and better treatments to continue.
On my St. Baldrick’s page you will see I am holding ‘Oliver’. He was Tara’s dog. He told me that he wants to get his hair cut too, to help cure childhood cancer! Watch for our After Picture.
This year our teams name is “Tara’s Team”. We have set a pretty hefty team goal this year, but I know we can do it with your help.
Worldwide a child is diagnosed with cancer every 3 minutes. St. Baldrick’s funds more research towards finding a cure for childhood cancer than any other organization other than the U.S. government.
This is a tragic disease that takes to many kids and ruins to many lives. Shaving my head is what I can do to help stop the heartbreak that cancer causes.
I am asking that you please give what you can to help stop this horrible disease.

It’s just that easy to help find a cure!
Thank you very much,
Mark
