I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research
Childhood cancer mortality represents an incredible tragedy. Funding and research have led to significant improvements in cure and survival rates for childhood cancers since the 1970’s, however much work remains. Currently, 1 in 5 children diagnosed with cancer will not survive. St. Baldrick’s is the largest private funder of childhood cancer research, raising money through head shaving events as a symbolic gesture for the children who often lose their hair as a result of their therapy. I encourage you to look through the child profiles on this site https://www.stbaldricks.org/blog/category/kids-with-cancer and consider becoming involved or making a donation to support lifesaving research. Thank you.
Be it known to all that this participant has dedicated at least seven years of service to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation helping kids with cancer throughout all the land.
St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids
Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
