I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team SAP

Every two minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer - all day, every day. September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, I am committed to donating 12+ inches of my hair and fundraising for St. Baldrick’s childhood cancer research.

I would like to cordially invite you to join the fight with SAP and St. Baldrick’s at the 5th Annual Tech Conquers Kids Cancer fundraiser next Thursday, October 3rd from 4:00–8:00 p.m. at SAP Palo Alto, Café 1. This is a great community event for colleagues, families and friends. You'll have the chance to enjoy a photo booth, food, beer, wine, music, and raffle prizes including a surprise grand raffle prize but best of all you'll be giving kids their best chance for a happy and healthy childhood, free of cancer.

Please kindly consider joining this St. Baldrick's event in Palo Alto and/or supporting from afar by donating to this worthwhile cause. If you are not in the position to donate, spreading awareness for this event with your network would help me reach my fundraising goal and positively affect the lives of families in difficult situations.

It is my hope to exceed my fundraising goal of $2,500 this year. Every dollar counts and every donation is sincerely appreciated.

I am thrilled to have the opportunity to donate my hair for the 6th time benefiting Wigs for Kids, a non-profit organization that has been serving children suffering from hair loss since 1981. Wigs for Kids is dedicated to the mission of helping children who've lost their hair due to medical reasons look themselves and live their lives.

Please let me know if you have any questions or would like to register yourself to brave the shave/donate your hair with me on October 3rd - the more the merrier!

Let's conquer childhood cancer together.

Many thanks in advance for any support that you may be able to provide as it is truly appreciated.

Be well friends!

Cheers,

Soon
