I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Guy Carpenter

UPDATE 3/15: The green mohawk is here for one more day until it all comes off tomorrow at the Seattle Children's Hospital event! :) https://www.stbaldricks.org/teams/Goldmanlocks UPDATE: It looks like that green mohawk I've always wanted is about become reality!!! :) Since embarking on this effort I have met another neighborhood mom who will be shaving at Seattle Children's Hospital event on March 16th. Gloria's son Rhys, also a shavee, was diagnosed with leukemia last year and is currently in treatment.  He attends the same school as our Yuna and is listed as one of the two kids honored on this page. To further help raise awareness for their team 'Goldmanlocks and the Laurelhurst Bears', I have decided to partially shave at Fado's (as originally intened) and complete the effort at SCH, a week later.    *** In honor of the 10th anniversary of my original shave, I'm shaving my head again to raise money for childhood cancer research, which is still extremely underfunded! *Thanks for your support!* Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
