I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I was online at Starbucks In New City, chatting with one of my favorite baristas about maybe taking part in

St Baldricks this year (I have been talking about doing this for a couple of years, but my hair is my thing and I always chicken out). The lady behind me overheard and proceeded to tell me that her young daughter is a brain cancer survivor, hugged me and showed me pictures of her beautiful daughter Grace, and this ladies and gents is why I'm shaving my head on March 13th 2016 to raise money for childhood cancer research!  Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? No matter how large or small ( large is obviously better, but all sizes appreciated) Friends and family from Overseas, don't feel left out you can donate online too, you can convert the currency on the page, so no excuses.

Please help raise as much money as possible in the next 6 weeks. So check if your employer will match your gift and please pass on to all your friends and family too.

Feel free to Tweet, Facebook and Instagram.

Thanks

Nikkii xx
