Over the past 4 years I've had tremendous fundraising success with a lot of help from friends like you for this great and noble kid’s charity, and after taking 2013 off, I am once AGAIN shaving my head in solidarity with kids battling with cancer – WILL YOU PLEASE SPONSOR ME? I shave on March 10th, at the Central Park Boathouse in NYC. Please help me in the fight against kid's cancer and donate whatever you can afford, and if you have donated in past years, I thank you again for any consideration of being a repeat donor.
Cancer never takes a break. As the father of three beautiful and healthy teenage girls I can only imagine what families deal with when their own children are stricken with this life threatening and scary disease. My lovely wife and life partner for 30 years Sheila is a breast cancer survivor, and 25 years ago we lost my oldest brother to stomach cancer after a year-long struggle- so I know all too well the devastation a diagnosis of cancer in a loved one can bring to a close-knit family. Help me to make a difference in a kid’s life and future!
The St. Baldrick's Foundation now funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Since 2000, events have taken place all over the world, raising over $128 million. Thousands of "shavees" have shorn their pates in solidarity of children with cancer, while requesting donations of support from friends and family – each one becoming a walking billboard for the cause! Can you donate/shave/get involved? St. Baldrick’s needs you and so do I!
Please take a look at some great pics of last year’s shave at Central Park on my St. Bald’s website link above – I will post a pic on March 10th with my new look as well.
In an effort to encourage some larger donations, for the highest NYC donor above $1000, I will make a personal trip to on St. Patrick's day (March 17th) to play the bagpipes (in full kilt) at your place of business to celebrate St. Pat's and entertain your coworkers!

Thank you so much in advance for your support! (And sincere apologies if you have already donated, or are otherwise getting this email AGAIN!)
