My Story

During Catherine's fight with cancer she posted this to her twitter account: “If I’m honest I have to tell you I still read fairy-tales and I like them best of all.” ― Audrey Hepburn" She fought to win; and we just knew she would. Unfortunately, God's will was not ours; and we lost our very best. She was so very brave; and I remember her telling her mother: "Mommy, I don't want to die." We never thought she would; and that is something no parent should ever hear from their child. However, cancer is so very evil and I truly wish no other parent ever know this pain. But, it can affect us all. So we must fight - every day. Whether that be remembering, fund-raising, going to school to learn, being aware -- whatever it is -- it is a fight we can all participate in; and one we simply must win.
