I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Porter Power

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Porter Power

A lot has changed since Team Porter Power first shaved in 2016.

We added SIX grandbabies to the family [Juliet (2017), Porter (2017), Jameson (2020), Maxine (2020), Khloe (2020), and Lincoln (2020).]

We moved twice (Maumee to Whitehouse to Whitehouse).

John retired after 47 years at Kroger.

We've enjoyed watching grandchildren in countless cross country meets, football games, basketball games, soccer games, softball games, track meets, musical performances, and dance recitals.

But some things have not changed.

More children are lost to cancer in the U.S. than any other disease—in fact, more than many other childhood diseases combined.

Before they turn 20, about 1 in 263 children in the U.S. will have cancer.

Worldwide, a child is diagnosed every 2 minutes.

I shave to raise awareness and to raise money for lifesaving pediatric cancer research.
