I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: BCoFD and Friends

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: BCoFD and Friends

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

A little bit about me, I am a volunteer firefighter at Alpha Fire Company #1 in Littlestown, Pa and in 2020 I am actually taking on the role of Fire Lieutenant. Being a volunteer firefighter, I give my time to try and make a difference in my community. I also work for Baltimore County 911, so you can say that I try to make a difference everyday.

Three years ago, I decided to take part in St. Baldricks foundation to try and raise money to help with childhood cancer research, It breaks my heart to see children sick or even injured, and I can not imagine the pain that the family goes through knowing that there child has cancer.

However,  I need your help. Every little bit of money can go a long way in making a difference in someone's life. If you could, please join me in trying to make a difference, even a dollar can go a long way!
