I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research
It's been over 3 years and 11 inches, but the time has come!!! I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. I will also be donating my hair to Pantene Beautiful Lengths to help create a free, real-hair wig for a woman with cancer.
Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. This is the 4th year I am organizing the event at Buffalo Grove High School, and it is an honor and a privilege.
Be it known to all that this participant has dedicated at least three years of service to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation helping kids with cancer throughout all the land.
