I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Carol Freeland

My seventh year raising money and shaving my head for Children's Cancer Research.

This cause means a lot for me.Growing up,my brave little sister had to go through equipment and treatment designed for adult patients. We were truly blessed that my little sister is now a truly awesome little adult. Back in the early 80's the understanding was that children's cancers were simply smaller forms of adult cancers and were treated as such. Now it is understood that there are so many more exclusive to children, taking many forms both malignant and benign.Even today,Children's cancer research is only a minute fraction compared to adult cancers. This is our future,if you are able to spare a buck or two,I would sincerely be grateful.
