In 2006 my twin brother Ben was diagnosed with osteosarcoma. We were inseparable before Ben got cancer. We did everything together. After his first surgery the hospital let me stay in the same room with him. We had a sleepover in his room with my dad. After that we spent many nights apart. At one point he spent 9 months in a hospital far away. My dad would take me to see him on the weekends. I missed Ben, but, we were able to do fun things. In 2009 we turned 9 years old. A few months after our birthday Ben got tired. We still managed to have fun when he was feeling well. Ben died. I miss him. I shave my head in his honor. Please donate money to St Baldrick's.
Be it known to all that this participant has dedicated at least ten years of service to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation helping kids with cancer throughout all the land.
St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
