I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: #MEMORIES

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: #MEMORIES

It has been a difficult 18 months for all of us and the entire world since my last St. Baldrick's head shaving event in March 2021.  That was the last trip I took just a couple weeks before everything shutdown.  We were very lucky to complete that event and that everybody came out if it safe.  Understandably the focus has all been on COVID during this time but unfortunately childhood cancers have not gone away.

I'm still not sure if I will be able to get to Vegas for this year's re-scheduled event at McMullan's Pub in Vegas on September 18 but even if I'm not there I will still be raising money and I will still shave my head.  This will be my 11th year supporting this amazing organization.  Last year you all donated an INCREDIBLE $20,009 to break the $100K mark and reach a 10 year total of $108,724 through my fundraising page .  Through those10 years my head shaving teammates on TEAM #MEMORIES have raised a total of $192,548!!!

The team name is in honor of our friend Chris Pennewell who lost a battle with cancer a few years ago. He taught me how important life is and how important it is to make memories for yourself and for others. Let's help these kids to fight cancer and grow up to make memories for themselves and their families! #Memories

We all have family and friends who have fought this nasty disease. We all have family and friends who have lost the fight. We need to help them fight! As most of you know my Dad, Dan Ingster Sr., was an amazing person and the most important person in my life (until Melissa and Baby Dan came along). He passed away November 21, 2011 from a form of cancer called Cholangiocarcinoma. 25 years prior my Grandmother, Lynne Ingster, passed away from cancer as well. My Dad was such a caring person that he usually took care of others before himself. He was very proud of me for shaving my head the first time for St. Baldrick's 11 years ago and I know that he would want me to do anything I can to support this organization for as long as I can.  Your donation can fund research to help kids survive and thrive. Join me today and let’s #DFYchildhoodCancers together.
