I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

UPDATE!!! I have TRIPLED MY original goal of $1000.  Thank you to everyone who has donated.  Let’s keep the donations coming and help fight pediatric cancer ❤️

Many people have asked why I am doing St. Baldrick’s head shave. There a many reasons I could list here, but one reason that is personal to me, I am shaving my head and going bald ON MY TERMS, losing my hair to Chemotherapy was devastating to me when it happened. I had no control of losing my hair. So this time I HAVE THE CONTROL.

Having been personally effected by Cancer myself, I know how difficult this nasty disease is to fight.  As an adult it was grueling, so I am raising money to help children.  I will be cancer free 7 years in July, let's try and make children cancer free as well!

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
