My Story

After weeks of unexplained fevers and leg pain, Vivian was diagnosed at the age of 18 months with a rare and aggressive form of AML. She spent over 5 months in the hospital with complications from treatment and ultimately a bone marrow transplant. She is 16 months post transplant and living an almost normal and full life. Vivi goes in for weekly out-patient clinic appointments and receives maintenance treatment in hopes of keeping her in remission. Vivian passed away just shy of 4 years of age on January 22nd, 2020 from her battle with cancer. Thank you for supporting her and the more than 300,000 kids worldwide who will be diagnosed with cancer this year. By sharing the gifts of your time, talent and money with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, you're supporting research to give all kids with cancer a better chance for a cure.
