Friends, family, and everyone in between:
This is my fourth year participating in the Annual Shave for a Cure to help with the battle against childhood cancer. Why am I having my head shaved? To stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, who typically lose their hair during treatment. More importantly, I'm doing it to raise funds for childhood cancer research!
Rest assured, I'll look just as good bald, but you're not supporting me for the off-chance that my head might be startlingly-misshaped, but because it's for a phenomenal cause: the battle against childhood cancer--helping the 10,000+ kids who battling 40 different types of childhood cancers, with more than 1,500 being diagnosed within the next year.
Worldwide, more than 160,000 children are diagnosed with cancer each year. The St. Baldrick's Foundation partners with organizations around the world to fund childhood cancer research. We must all do everything we can to give kids a better chance for a cure.
To support me on behalf of these very special kids, please click "Make a Donation" above, or donate by mail or phone.Your donation can even be tax receiptable, although any amount helps!!
Help make a difference for these kids and the 1,500 more that will be diagnosed next year.
Thank you for your support,
With your help...WE WILL WIN!
