My Story

Morghan is a bright, fun-loving 15 yr old. She was diagnosed with medulloblastoma when she was 6 yrs old, she had just started Kindergarden and was so excited about going to school like her big brother. She had surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy. Thru all of her treatment she remained positive and wanted to play and joke around. Her time at the clinic would be spent playing games and doing crafts, she always wanted more projects to do.These days Morghan is in the 9th grade and is doing very well in high school. Her strong-willed personality is what has enabled her to get to this point in school. She likes to swim, ride her bike and learning to drive. She desperately wants a horse to ride and take care of. She loves to listen to country music.   As a result of radiation to her brain Morghan does not have much hair across the back of her head. She doesn't let it bother her and will frequently wear her hair up showing off her "battle scars". She is not as tall as we would have expected her to be either and she now wears hearing aids due to the damage caused by one of the chemotherapy drugs she was on.
