I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Dear colleagues

I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids.

I feel particularly compelled to support this cause, because it supports a cause benefitting children. A statement credited to an anonymous source says:

One hundred years from now ...

It will not matter what your bank account was,

The sort of house you lived in,

Or the kind of car you drove ...

But the world may be a better place because

YOU were important in the life of a CHILD!

Let's be important in the life of children battling cancer. I very much appreciate if you support me. And I will personally match the first $2,500 of donations made to support me.

Thank you! Click "Make a donation" to give online, or donate by phone or mail.

-Daniel

PS: This is the 3rd time that I'm participating at this event as a shavee. You'll find below a visual how this transformed me a few years ago when I participated with some Miami-based colleagues at my former employer.
