I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: BCH Oakland Attending and Resident Doctors

I'm shaving my head for the ELEVENTH year and the cause of St. Baldrick's is more important to me than ever. My son's close friend bravely battled osteosarcoma this past year and I'm shaving to honor the strength and courage of Owen and his family. Thankfully, he’s doing SO well, but his treatment was tough. Kids fighting cancer deserve the most effective therapies possible.  More research will not only lead to improved survival rates, it will also fund advancements that can decrease medication side effects and provide additional supportive care for patients and families on their journeys through these difficult treatments.  Donations to St. Baldrick's can make these advancements a reality.  Thank you for your support!


PS - I haven't cut my hair at all since last St. Baldrick's so I'm looking pretty shaggy!  Gray, Anu and I will be shaving our heads on Saturday 8/20 so look out for photos and updates.  It's not too late to join us!
