I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Alpha Phi Omega

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Alpha Phi Omega

HELLO!

I am currently on a journey to raise money to fund Pediatric Cancer Research!

This is a very personal issue to me because of my background in the field of nursing as well as another deeply personal matter. Not many of you know this, but last month, my Grandfather passed away. Among many things he was the greatest man I have ever had the opportunity of getting to know in my life. I can think back to a time where my brother participated in a St. Baldrick's Shaving event when I was in Middle School. We roped my Pop in to coming with us and lo and behold, he ended up agreeing then and there to become a shavee for this wonderful cause. Now many of you might not know, but he was already balding and had little hair left to shave but was immensely proud of the fact he shaved it all off. I'll never forget the smile that he had walking out of there. I would like to become a shavee in honor of this magnificent man and all that he stood for.

All I ask is for a simple donation. As much as you can spare. Maybe go without a cup of coffee for a day and donate however much that would be. Or bring lunch to work and donate the cost of a lunch. Every single bit helps when it comes down to putting the rubber to the road for research for pediatric cancer. You can donate at this link https://www.stbaldricks.org/participants/Bologna

If you cannot spare a donation please take the time to share this message, so as many people that it can reach can receive it.

Thank you all ahead of time for any donation you were able to make, every little bit makes a difference.

Thank you all so much for your help!

Have a lovely day!
