This is the year that #BiscuitGoesBald
Elliot has spent her entire life around the childhood cancer advocacy community and has always been one of my best volunteers. She really has seen the worst that this disease can do to these families. Here is her why in her own words:
Hi. My name is Elliot and I'm shaving my head because of everyone affected by childhood cancer. A few that I have known have died and that was very sad and I have some friends still fighting cancer. All of our Honored Kids have become my friends and they need help finding better treatments so I want to help them.
Their names are Avery, Sydney, Isla, Olivia, Lauryn, Abby, and last but definitely not least, Sara. I really miss Sara. Will you help me raise funds for for my friends?
Every 2 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer worldwide, and 1 in 5 of those in the U.S. will not survive. I refuse to accept this reality, so I’ve decided to fundraise for lifesaving research to find cures and better treatments for kids.
Now I need your support! Your donation can fund research to help kids survive and thrive. Join me today and let’s #DFYchildhoodCancers together.
