I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Ravenscroft School

Friends and Family,

For the second year in a row, I am the event organizer for my school’s St. Baldrick’s event, and I am shaving my head again this year! St. Baldrick’s is an organization that raises money for childhood cancer research by having participants raise money before shaving their heads at the event. This is my second year as the head of the Saints and Scholars Irish Pub event, which was founded by students at my school six years ago.

Last year, I personally raised over $4,000 and my event raised over $35,000 for childhood cancer research! This was an incredible fundraising effort, and I could not have done it without your support. I have attached photos from before and after the event below.

This year, I hope to break my record from last year and raise $5,000 personally and $40,000 for the event. Please donate to this great cause, preferably by using a credit card on this easy-to-use website (https://www.stbaldricks.org/participants/AndrewWilliams).

The event is on March 11th this year, and I would love for you to come watch me go bald. If you are interested in helping out with the event, please email or call (919-971-8136), and I will let you know how you can help. We’ve all been affected by cancer and St. Baldrick’s is at the forefront of cancer research. Thank you for your support in helping me defeat childhood cancer!
