I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: RMC - M2s

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: RMC - M2s

Hey Friends and Family. As you may know, every year for the past 7 years now I have shaved my head to raise money for childhood cancer research. It is always my most expensive haircut of the year, but also the most worthwhile. I haven’t cut my hair or trimmed my beard in over 2 months in anticipation. The work of the St. Baldrick’s foundation is really near and dear to my heart and my involvement with this organization was actually one of the main factors that inspired me to go to medical school, in hopes of being able to do more for children with cancer besides just shaving my head once a year.

Sadly, childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. I need your help to change that! Please make a donation. Every dollar you donate makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

I know, I know, the economy and the crazy high rent in San Francisco and all the other financial burdens are really wearing you down. As someone who is quickly approaching being a quarter of a million dollars in debt, if I can scrape a couple of bucks together by penny pinching here and there to give money to find a cure for children dying of cancer, then I’m sure you can spare a few bucks as well.

Any amount will make a difference. Thank you so all so much for your continued support.

Love,

Amir
