What could be more important than saving the life of a child?

Donors and volunteers have enabled the St. Baldrick’s Foundation to fund more than $325 million in grants and to fund more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Every grant goes through a rigorous review process, ensuring every dollar has the greatest possible impact for children with cancer.

I have a personal connection to the mission of St. Baldrick's having watched many of my loved ones battle the realities of cancer. That said, no child should have to go through what they went through.

Since 2012 the Bowling Green State University community has raised over $172,000 for childhood cancer research and the St. Baldrick's Foundation. We do so through our Shave-A-Thon where volunteers will shave their head in solidarity and to raise awareness for childhood cancer. Also, folx can get involved by donating hair, raising money, being barbers, and volunteering.

Research is hope for kids with cancer, but donations to find cures have been down since 2020. Help us change this by supporting the Shave-A-Thon where 100% of the proceeds will go the fighting childhood cancer.

Your gift will give kids hope by supporting the best research across the country, through the largest charity funder of childhood cancer research grants.

Cancer kills more of our kids than any other disease. I don’t want to let these kids down. Can you help? Thank you!

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
