My Story

FROM ANDREW: Hi - I'm Andrew! I am 13 years old and in the Seventh Grade. I love to play the guitar and play sports. My favorite sports that I play are Basketball, Boxing, Track, and Triathlon. My first ever triathlon is in June of 2014. I have a 16 year old brother Steven and an 8 year old sister Ashley. I play the guitar in a blues-rock band with my friends. When I grow up, I want to be a lawyer/politician or a professional guitarist. Every year around the holidays, I collect toys to give to the sick kids (undergoing cancer treatment). My foundation is called "Friends of Andrew". Last December, I had donated over 650 toys to the Long Island Ronald McDonald Houses, NYU Medical Center and Cohens Children’s Hospital. 2014 will be my seventh year shaving to help St. Baldrick's cure kid's cancer! FROM MOM & DAD: Andrew was diagnosed with High Risk Stage IV Neuroblastoma at 13 months of age. He endured surgery, high dose chemotherapy, 2 stem-cell transplants, and radiation therapy. We thank God each and every day for blessing Andrew with good health.
