Standing With Kids Fighting Cancer

We're helping to raise money for childhood cancer research at: McMullan's Irish Pub

I want to share why this fundraiser matters to me.

I was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. I am doing well. I have a strong medical team, and they believe we caught it early and that it is operable. My focus right now is treatment and recovery, and I remain optimistic.

Facing something like this brings clarity. When I look at my life, I feel fortunate. I have a loving wife. I have a wonderful child who is building a life with someone I respect and trust. I have built a business from the ground up, worked alongside people whose contributions I value, and today I lead a team I am proud of. I do work that matters to me. I do not carry regrets.

That perspective is why I am here.

For more than a decade, I have worked to raise money for childhood cancer research. Cancer is brutal at any age. When it affects a child, the odds are unfair and the margin for error is painfully small.

I am fortunate to have support, access to care, and people walking with me through this. Because of that, I am not asking for help for myself.

If you feel moved to help, I ask that you consider donating in support of children who are fighting battles they did not choose. Every dollar helps fund research that gives families a better chance when very little is guaranteed.

This fundraiser supports the St. Baldrick’s Foundation (chatgpt://generic-entity?number=0), an organization dedicated to one goal. Helping children survive cancer.

If what I am facing can be turned into something that helps even one child have a better outcome, that means a great deal to me.

Thank you for being here.

Thank you for caring about kids who deserve better odds.
