SHRED415 for Mighty Mimi 2017

We helped to raise money for childhood cancer research

Last year's SHRED415 for Mighty Mimi fundraising event was a huge success. We collectively raised over $13,500! We filled every spot in class and the room was full of energy, hope and strength! It was an amazing and we can't wait to see everyone again this year! We thank Shred415 for their love and support and hope that you will consider joining us on September 23rd at SHRED415 to show your support and strength for kids fighting cancer!  There will be TWO classes this year both taught by Mark Beier! Donations go directly to the Mighty Mimi Hero Fund and to life saving research! We appreciate your generosity and joining our family for this important cause! You can sign up for a class at this eventbrite link: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/shred415-for-mighty-mimi-tickets-36708744844 If you don't live in Chicago or are unable to attend the event, please consider making a donation by clicking "donate" button at the top of this page.  Mimi was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) on September 19th, 2014. After 2.5 years of treatment, Mimi is now in REMISSION. She is a SURVIVOR and we pray and believe that she will continue to stay strong and healthy for a long life ahead! Mimi has already fought the most important fight of her life and she is only 6 years old. Imagine if your child was diagnosed with cancer. What would you do?  You would muster all the courage and strength that you have and fight for them the best way you know how. Today we are asking you to join us in our quest to cure pediatric cancers and support not only Mimi, but all children who are diagnosed with cancer each year. Increased funding means better research, better treatments, better outcomes and improved quality of life for survivors!  Shred415 has been giving Mimi's parents, Barrett and Adrienne, strength, energy, community and empowerment for over 6 years. We continued to Shred throughout Mimi's treatment, and Mighty Mimi has inspired us to dig deeper, run faster, and never give up. No matter how challenging the workout may be, Mimi's challenge is greater and she fights it with such grace and bravery. So we do the same! We have been supported by the entire Shred415 community and it has been a way of coping, healing and finding more strength than we ever knew we had. We hope you will join us on September 23rd to Shred415 for Mighty Mimi along with our dear friend and amazing instructor, Mark Beier, who has been supporting us through this journey since Day 1.  Please visit her Honored Kids page for more information about her diagnosis and our family's mission to battle childhood cancer and increase funding for pediatric cancer research. http://www.stbaldricks.org/kids/mypage/6289
