Sam's Run 2019

We helped to raise money for childhood cancer research at: St. Baldrick's and Cascade Middle School: Cure Childhood Cancers!

There are certain people you encounter who leave an everlasting impression on your life. Sam was one of those people. A scholar, athlete, Eagle Scout, and talented musician, he made the most of everything, and spread his love both broadly and deeply. His courage, strength, and love were only magnified when he was diagnosed with a rare cancer at the age of 18. His disease required experimental treatments, some of which benefited through funding from the St. Baldrick's foundation. He helped raise funds for pediatric cancer research through St. Baldrick's events in the Portland area during his treatments.

Besides raising money to support cancer research, St. Baldrick's is an event that brings people together for hope and support during difficult times. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

With infinite love and memories, we celebrate the life of Sam Marx.
