Blast Children's Cancer 2017

We helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Blast Children's Cancer 2017 at Napper Tandy's Irish Pub

Our names are James and William Connor. We’re 13 years old and we’re in 8th grade at Northport Middle School.

Last February, instead of having a Bar Mitzvah, we held a benefit called Blast Children’s Cancer to raise money for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation. It was a huge success, and we raised even more than our $5,000 goal!

In fact, it was such a success that we’re doing it again! This year, to celebrate our sixth time shaving our heads for St. Baldrick’s, we’re upping our goal to $6,000!

Our benefit is on January 15th at LazerLand in Commack . In addition to laser tag and dodgeball, there’ll be a Chinese auction and a silent auction.Last year we had more than 60 amazing auction donations including a baseball signed by Jorge Posada, a diamond and pearl necklace, four court-side tickets to a Knicks game, original works donated by artists, a pair of tickets to “Stomp!”, two tickets to any show at the Engeman Theater, a night for two at Oheka Castle, a dockside gourmet lunch on a private yacht, a family portrait shoot, and a special Mardi Gras themed basket direct from New Orleans. And that’s just a few of them!

So come on out for a great night of laser tag, dodgeball and lots of prizes!

Thank you for helping us Blast Children’s Cancer,

William and James Connor
