My Story

Benjamin is a sweet little boy who loves to watch things in motion, play with his superheroes (Buzz and Spiderman), climb on the playground, give big smiles, and even bigger hugs. He was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL B-Cell) when he was almost three. On the day of diagnosis, his blood was 97% saturated with Cancer and had an enlarged liver and spleen. For the next 8 months he would pick his toy out of the toybox each week to take to the clinic and 'go fight cancer'. He fights hard, never complains, and always has a smile. He is in his 4th and final phase of treatment that will last 2 1/2 more years. Thank you to St. Baldrick's for allowing us to have a happy 1 year anniversary since his diagnosis.
