Kicking Childhood Cancer In The Can

Please join us for our 7th annual Kicking Childhood Cancer In The Can event and be a hero to kids with cancer!  (formerly Draft Picks Tackles Childhood Cancer)

We are so happy to we team up again with the amazing owners of The Can - Pepe's Cantina , Naperville

SAT , SEPTEMBER 16, 2023 from 2 - 5 pm

This will be an outdoor/ tented event during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and halfway to St. Patricks Day ! Bring the family and be ready for some fun! We will have a fantastic emcee and amazing raffle prizes. The family friendly head shaving will be held outside, rain or shine! The restaurant, bar, and outdoor patio will conveniently be located just a few steps away to enjoy. (who doesn't love tacos and margaritas before, and / or after a new buzzcut ?!)

We have raised just under $133,000 over the past 6 years, and that includes only an online event in 2020 due to Covid !! Children, teens and even infants are diagnosed with cancer every day, but donations are drastically down for research to find cures. We can change that – and save lives! Our event will speed the search for cures, supporting the largest charity funder of childhood cancer research grants. Research is hope, and you can give kids that hope.

Start growing all that hair out to raise money for childhood cancer research . You can also raise money to cut your hair at our event. We accept donations of hair 8" or longer to make wigs for kids with cancer, so please reach out if you would like to learn more!!!

Please also like and follow our Facebook page at KICKING CHILDHOOD CANCER IN THE CAN as we share other event news and updates!

**We are also looking for several volunteers so please share our link or sign up as a volunteer **

Please join us and help us KICK CHILDHOOD CANCER IN THE CAN!

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
