St. Mark Shave Your Mane

The St. Mark "Shave Your Mane" event held in March 2014 was a huge success. We surpassed our goal of shaved heads and proceeds to fund pediatric cancer research. Thank you to all who shaved your head, volunteered your time and talent and those who donated money. The support from our school and community was unbelievable. I was so proud to be part of this event last year and am so excited to do it all again in 2015. The number of children affected by the lack of funding for pediatric cancers is heartbreaking. Last year we honored several local heros battling a form a pediatric cancer. We honored my nephew Gavin who lost his battle just two months before our event. We honored Michael Orbany who brought NEGU into all our our lives. Michael made his homecoming May 1, 2014. It is for those who are now with the Lord and those still with us that will keep us going again in 2015. It will only make us work harder to find a cure. The only way to do this is to become aware, get involved and donate. Please be a hero for kids with cancer! Join this St. Baldrick's event, and whether you decide to shave your head, volunteer, or donate, we hope you'll be a part of the excitement. The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.Get involved and you'll be giving hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
