Childhood cancer is the #1 disease killer of children in the United States. Local kiddo, David Heard (whose dad, Tom, is a Lafayette grad '91) developed a type of cancer at age 8 called neuroblastoma. He died on 2/10/11 at the age of 10. His parents, sister and the Lafayette community work together to honor David's final wish - fund more pediatric cancer research! Be a hero for kids with cancer!
