We're shaking things up in WNC to raise money for children's cancer research this year!! Instead of one big head-shaving event, we'll be shaving a few heads around town BUT AT THE SAME TIME ... We'll be doing Pushups for Paxten PLUS! Please consider rewarding our Pushup Guys with a donation! They'll be doing pushups as long as it takes a stylist to shave someone's head. We'd love it if you'd consider donating a quarter or dime per pushup! Reward their poor tired arms and fight children's cancer at one time! We will be posting videos of shaving and pushups on our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Western-North-Carolina-2014-St-Baldricks-Event-in-Asheville/266517186793982) and on this web page. Stay tuned! This event will honor several local children who have both successfully fought and also been lost to pediatric cancer. Our main honoree is Paxten Mitchell, a firefighter's son who passed away before he turned three years old in 2008. The PLUS is for all of the other children -- Kellie, Garrett, Haley, Shayla, Bethany, and so many more who suffered with this disease.
