Wow!!!! We surpassed our goal of $50,000, and we are currently at $54,000 and climbing. Remember we still are waiting for the cash and checks to clear from the day of our event. Just a reminder people are still able to donate towards the event or the participants.
Congratulations once again, to all of you for making this year’s Chicago Police Area North St.Baldrick's Event such a wonderful success!! I want to thank everybody from the Shavees, Barbers, Donors, Sponsors and to the other Volunteers for your selfless acts of kindness. For without all of you we couldn't take the steps necessary to help further the research to fight childhood cancer.
In the last five years at our location, we have raised approximately $270,000!! I would like to also acknowledge our partnership with the events at The Police Academy and Area South/22nd District, which run their event simultaneously, on behalf of the Chicago Police Department. Together we have raised $80,000 dollars thus far, and we are on target to do $100,000 this year alone. Since we started our effort in 2008 The Chicago Police Department has raised over $600,000 for St. Baldrick’s!!!!!!!! Amazing.
