Event Details

Be a hero for kids with cancer! The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-powered charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Get involved and you'll be giving hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers!           

Click on the links above to become a shavee in solidarity with children suffering from this terrible disease, volunteer your time to help us put together a successful event, and/or be a real hero and donate some much needed funds to help put an end to childhood cancer! 

You can also put a team together and compete against other teams to see who can raise the most money - prizes will be available for winning teams, and individual participants, raising the most money!

It's a really fun day, filled with lots of stuff for families and children coming down to support, as well as some different forms of entertainment later in the day for the adult crowd. 

The Glenwood South Shave Event in Raleigh, in partnership with the Hibernian Hospitality Group, has raised close to $2.2 million from 38k+ individual donations, and has shaved over 3400 heads since the event’s inception in 2006!

We are proud to be one of the largest shave events in the country, and look forward to continuing that tradition with your help.
