In the US, more children die of childhood cancer than any other disease. Please make a donation on my behalf to support childhood cancer research so that all children diagnosed with cancer will have a better chance for a cure.To make a donation, click on "Make A Donation" or donate by mail or phone.
We invite all Loyolans and Chicagoans to this event!
There will be head shaving, food, and even a performance by magician and winner of NBC's Hit TV show "Phenomenon," Mike Super! You can find more information on Mike Super on http://www.mikesuper.com/
Last year Loyola raised close to $15,000 and with your help, we can raise even more this year!
The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises money for childhood cancer research. The mission of the St. Baldrick's Foundation is to raise awareness and funds to Conquer Kids' Cancer by shaving heads on St. Baldrick's Day. Hair loss is a common part of the chemotherapy treatment for cancer patients and this event allows people to show support to those in need.
