Celebrating 25 Years

Arroyo Elementary School and Lexus

Our amazing Arroyo Mustangs and their family and friends have proven to be heroes once again in helping all children conquer childhood cancer! What an amazing night it was on May 16 at the "Get Food and Get Shaved" event at Arroyo! We shaved 140 heads! Everyone enjoyed the food trucks, music, lemonade stands, and the cool Lexus mobile barber IS, with a huge hair clipper on top. Our awesome firefighters, in support of our cause, even came with a fire truck for kids to explore (thanks Todd Lockwood for sending the truck and 2 firefighters!) A huge thanks to our awesome stylists from Cartel Hair Salon and Cranberries The Salon, who volunteered their time and expertise. These stylists worked tirelessly in the heat and accommodated well more than registered shavees. Donations collected at the event have been sent in to St. Baldricks and will be processed and posted. Thanks again for all the support, positive energy, and hope for the future that you have contributed towards!! And to Daniel and Michael...thank you for your kind hearts and in showing us that empowered children can really make a difference and can lead a community to do great things! The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer‐driven charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Get involved and you'll be giving hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancer.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
