Celebrating 25 Years

Lakewood High School

This year will mark the FOURTH year for Brave the Shave at Lakewood HS! To date, Lakewood HS has raised over $37,000 through the amazing generosity and participation of the LHS community. With our hope to hit the $50,000 mark this year, I hope that you will join us, in some way, shape or form -- through a donation, through braving the shave, or attending the event and experiencing the dynamic community that embraces this organization! I have been so privileged to have such a strong LHS community in my own fight against cancer, and am delighted to say that by the time our 4th event rolls around, I will be close to two years out of treatment! The LHS community has rallied around me, given me strength, and encouraged me, every step of the way. I have been honored to have such a strong base of support. As I wrap up my senior year at Lakewood High, I ask for your kind support of this organization, so vital to the development of new treatment plans and options for kids who encounter cancer. Please join me and Lakewood High School, and be a hero for kids with cancer! The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Get involved and you'll be giving hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
