Event Details

  Welcome to the official page for the Lindenhurst High School Shave & Raise, a fundraiser in partnership with the St. Baldrick's Foundation (a volunteer-powered charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government)!

  Here, you can sign up to shave your head during our Virtual Head-Shave Event, volunteer, or donate to the cause. You can even donate to support a shavee or team of your choice! Regardless of what you choose, you'll be giving hope to infants, children, teens, and young adults by helping us raise money for pediatric cancer research!

How to Participate:
 - Pledge to be a "shavee" and shave your head during our Virtual Head-Shave Event! To start, click the blue "Join Us" button above, click the blue "Yes" button to continue to registration, set up a Username and Password, and sign up to be a head-shaver! You can also set up a profile picture, fundraising goal, start a team within our fundraiser, or join an already existing team! Now it's time to get people to donate to your campaign before shaving your head with us virtually during our Head-Shave Event on March 27th! As a shavee, you will receive an email after signing up with further instructions on how to proceed.
 - Volunteer to help us! To start, click the blue "Join Us" button above, click the blue "Yes" button to continue to registration, set up a Username and Password, and sign up to be a volunteer! As a volunteer, you will receive an email after signing up with further instructions on how to proceed.
 - Donate to our cause! To make a general donation, click the green "Donate" button at the top of our page. To donate to a specific participant's campaign, go to the Participant Leaderboard, click "View All" at the bottom, and click the green "Donate" button next to the name of the participant you want to donate to. To donate to a specific Team, go to the Team Leaderboard, click "View All" at the bottom, and click the green "Donate" button next to the name of the team you want to donate to. All donations are appreciated and will go directly to the St. Baldrick's Foundation.

  Be sure to join us Saturday, March 27th at 2 PM for our Virtual Head-Shave Event, where pledged "shavees" will be shaving their heads live via Zoom! Be sure to check back for more information as the date approaches!
