Finn McCool's Irish Pub

Our 9th year and still going even stronger! With your help we've raised OVER $775,000 for childhood cancer research, just at Finn's! Pat yourself on the back, but it's time to get down to business again. This year, in addition to all our previous Honored Kids, we will be honoring Amos T from New Orleans. Amos is 5 years old and suffers from ALL. His immune system is still pretty weak from his treatment, but hopefully he'll be able to make an appearance at the event so we can all show him that we're in his corner!

We've also got the one and only, incredibly generous, Mr. Thomas "The Leg" Morstead joining us again. If his mere presence isn't enough to get your juices flowing, he'll be shaving again this year!

In addition to Morstead, we've got the usually fare of performances, an awesome raffle with the Grand Prize of a fully stocked Jameson Barrel bar (yup, it's back again this year!), and our amazing silent auction.

For any interested Shavees, we run the event on a first come, first shave basis. With that said, however, we are always willing to work with anybody who has time constraints. And don't forget, if you can't make the event at Finn's, there are numerous other events in the New Orleans area that would love to have you join them.

Finally, don't forget about our sister event in Killybegs, Co. Donegal in Ireland. As some of you may remember, one of our 2011 Honored Kids was Ryan McCrudden from Co. Donegal. Ryan passed away in 2010 after a battle with Leukemia. Twenty years prior, his Aunt Sandra McCudden was diagnosed and passed away from Leukemia. To top it off, Sandra's father, Jim, was also diagnosed with Leukemia a few years ago. In honor of their memory, the town of Killybegs, Co. Donegal in Ireland has banded together to create Sandra's Run in order to raise funds for childhood cancer research in Ireland. We are happy to name this event as our "sister" event.
