My Story

My child Benny is a vivacious 2.5 year old little boy. He is full of life and love. He loves to play with his big brother Jack, read books, paint and play with his Woody doll. He loved going to school and playing with his friends. Benny is a very sweet and loving boy, loves to snuggle with me after he would wake up from his afternoon nap. This past January he was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, with the Philadelphia Chromosome. The last 7 weeks have been a complete roller coaster ride. Benjamin has been so resilient and brave. He has had 5 bone marrow biopsies, 4 spinal taps and 8 blood transfusions since this all began. We are so proud of Benjamin and how he has persevered through all that he has been through.
