East Tennessee State University - Bucs in the Battle of the Bald

Be a hero for kids with cancer! Join this St. Baldrick's event, and whether you decide to shave your head, volunteer, or donate, we hope you'll be a part of the Battle of the Bald! The Battle of the Bald is a competition among universities and colleges across the U.S. to see who can raise the most money for the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This is our chance as proud East Tennesseans to show how much we care and exercise our compassion for children and adolescents with cancer everywhere. The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Get involved and you'll be giving hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers! This event will be happening throughout the day to maximize the opportunities for you to give back. Come by any time to participate and show everyone how much Bucs care.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
