Event Details

** Please note that this is a private event that is open only for I-Day attendees. The St Baldrick’s Foundation was founded by members of the insurance industry, and is a volunteer-driven charity committed to funding the most promising research to find cures for childhood cancers and give survivors long and healthy lives. The foundation funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any other organization, except the US government. The Insurance Society of Philadelphia has been a proud supporter of the St. Baldrick’s Foundation since 2011, when its President, Dave Arnold, shaved his head in solidary with children who have cancer and typically use their hair during treatment. In 2012 Dave took his the mission to Conquer Childhood Cancers a step further by not only braving the shave again, but also hosting Philly I-Day’s first St. Baldrick’s event! ISOP has raised over $10,000 in the past 2 years, and will again host its annual St. Baldrick’s Day Event at Philly I-Day on April 11, 2013. We encourage I-Day attendees to support the mission to Conquer Childhood Cancers by joining the I-Day event, or supporting one of our brave shavees!
